Blog practice No.3 - January 2021;

We have organised for some of our amazing family to be caretakers & look after our home, pussycats & horses while we are travelling Australia and we are now able to move into pack & try to relax mode.

Finding a time & space to say farewell to everyone we love before we go and working out what we are going to need to pack into our new and greatly reduced living space is possibly our biggest challenge at the moment - reducing the amount of clothes I can reasonably get away with taking seems to be my greatest drama (I already know that in theory less is going to be best ... however putting this into practice is my problem).

We are both also really interested in exploring & perfecting our IT set-up and skills for documenting & sharing all our upcoming travel adventures with interested family and friends. Our chosen IT set-up will include; a good quality Nikon camera, 2 x i-phones & internet, the latest Samsung Tab S7 Plus iPad with keypad & SD card reader and associated software (for blog writing & film editing) + an underwater Go-Pro & an amazing Mavic Pro Platinum Drone for filming high & low.

Because we are both very novice bloggers we are doing our best to make sure we are not making hard work of it all and we have spent some time this week playing with our IT equipment. Col has researched all the functions available on the Mavic Pro (a very cool new toy) & we have had a go at filming our first drone video clip before we set off. I am busy teaching myself how to become an amateur video editor with the help of video editor Apps Adobe Spark & Quik + a personal blog site created through WIX. We are happy with our first attempt which is the attached Relaxing @ Talisman clip ... lots of new blog clips & write-ups will follow as we practice and continue to develop our skills as amateur documentary film makers & photographer-blog writers - stay tuned 😎
